Sr. HR Executive – 1 position


Role Description: 

The position has a dual reporting to CMD and COO. The key aspects of the role are as follows:


You will be working with key stakeholders for speedy recruitment. As part of this activity, you would be responsible for the below mentioned activities:

  • Regular research on the market dynamics and update on the competitor’s recruitment patterns
  • Pro-active profiling and updation of the database
  • Conducting the preliminary screening interviews
  • Regular updation of the postings on job portals, LinkedIn, company website and emailers to the employees
  • Regular updates to the stakeholders regarding the status of recruitment
  • Periodic updation of the documentation (Job Description, information about company, questionnaires, templates of offer and appointment letter etc.)
  • Constant follow-up with the candidate once the offer is rolled out till the candidates join the company
  • Conducting the reference check for the selected candidates

Induction and On-boarding

You will be responsible for the below mentioned activities for the new joinees of all domains in the organization:

  • Timely implementation of “Joining-in” activities for the new team members. You would be responsible for conformance to documentation as per the EI Design HR policy.
  • Planning and scheduling of Induction and On-Boarding programme
  • Taking feedback on the sessions conducted from the new joinees to improve the current structure
  • Taking feedback from the domain heads regarding the impact of the sessions on the new joinees and plan the further action accordingly
  • Periodic audits of the files for meeting the compliance mandate

Competency Mapping

Taking care of the competency mapping across the organization for each domain and each employee:

  • Updating the KRAs for each domain and each level

Performance Management System

You will be working with key stakeholders for successful implementation of the performance management system. As part of this activity, you would be responsible for the below mentioned activities:

  • Maintaining a rolling forecast of 3 months and tracking the same
  • Detailed planning for the two master review cycles (April and October)
  • Diligently completion of the meetings and the corresponding documentation within the time frame
  • Comparing individual outcomes against the KRAs set
  • Conducting the on-going and annual performance reviews

Learning and Development

You will be working with senior stakeholders in executing the training plan of the company. As part of this activity, you would be responsible for the below mentioned activities:

  • Creating the Training Need Analysis (TNA) document quarterly in consultation with the Head Operations, Program Manager (Operations and Innovation and domain heads)
  • Creating the quarter and monthly training calendar
  • Monitoring and implementing the quarterly and monthly training calendar and ensure that its planned and executed as per the plan
  • Regular updation of the training calendar by interaction with the domain heads
  • Collation of the training feedback, conducting the analysis of the patterns and sharing the specific feedback to the trainers
  • Periodic update to the trainers and stakeholders on the incorporation of the feedback in the training scheduled
  • Defining a framework to access the impact of the training (according to trainee and organization perspective)

Exit Formalities

You will be involved in the exit formalities of the employees and conducting the corresponding analysis.

Employee engagement

  • Regularly interacting with the team and providing inputs timely to the senior members of the team, if any issues are observed. Resolving the issues on priority to avoid the disturbance in the system
  • Regular communication to the team on the value adds/changes proposed by management
  • Involving in on-going employee engagement/team events and activities
  • Involving the senior members and creating presentations on team contribution and conduct recognition programs monthly
  • Regularly interacting with the team to ensure our employee retention is higher

Team Management

  • Oversee the performance of your team to strengthen HR operations and performs consistently
  • Define KRAs for your team and review the progress quarterly
  • Conduct quarterly presentations on the contribution made by HR team towards KRAs set


Along with your team members, you will be responsible to contribute in certain aspects as mentioned below:

  • Maintaining attendance, leave records and employee records on daily basis
  • Providing assistance in preparation of monthly salary advise
  • Completing the vendor documentation (purchase orders, NDA, MSA etc) timely
  • Maintaining and updating the insurance record
  • Periodically conducting the audit of HR files
  • Constant monitoring for the office upkeep
  • Co-ordinating with System Admin team to the proper maintenance of the records

Education and experience: You should have prior experience as HR Generalist and

  • 6-8 years of experience (preferably in experience in eLearning industry)
  • Very good MS office skills and ability to pick up latest software
  • Full time MBA with a good academic record
  • Self-motivated
  • Team player
