Sr Business Development Manager – 1 Position

Role Description:

  1. We are looking for candidates who would strategise, manage, train and own the full life cycle of business development for our e-learning company and head our BD team.
  2. We are looking for people who are passionate about solving customer problems and are self driven, with a high level of accountability and ownership. We are looking for someone with a sense of urgency and a positive, winning attitude.
  3. The ideal candidate will be highly organised with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and he or she will enjoy setting benchmarks.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills- fluency in verbal and written English is an absolute must.

Role specific:

  1. Business development, sales and delivery of eLearning solutions to enterprises/institutions.
  2. A proactive planner with expertise in business planning, market plan execution, client servicing with skills in competitor and market analysis.
  3. Responsible for revenue generation.
  4. New client acquisitions and managing the existing clients for providing exceptional IT Consulting services.
  5. Will be responsible for developing sales implementation plans for assigned customer base.
  6. Perform high-level positioning and identification of strategic business.
  7. Developing business opportunities that are strategic from a revenue perspective or complex in nature, requiring high-level complex selling skills.
  8. Yearly forecasting, pricing, key account management.
  9. Defining prospect business from RFP to RFQ stage, Price Negotiation & Closure.
  10. Work closely with the Project Managers and Technical Leads and ensure that all activities are well coordinated in the key accounts.
  11. Maintains a high knowledge level of the company’s products and services, as well as knowledge on the particular Industry workflow, business drivers, macro-economics and major players.
  12. Willing to accept direction from management and at the same time be independent acting on his or her best instincts.
  13. Relationship Management and Customer Satisfaction across the accounts.

Competencies Required :

  1. Experience in a technology oriented field – knowledge/awareness about the eLearning industry is mandatory.
  2. Experience in managing customer relationships and maintaining relationships in a B2B environment.
  3. Proven experience of meeting/exceeding targets in a metric driven sales environment.
  4. A minimum of 9 years of experience in International Sales.
  5. Strong analytics and probing skills and high attention to detail.
  6. Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information, person with high integrity, dependability who can work independently.
  7. Team player.
  8. Organized, with systematic and effective methods for prospecting.
  9. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  10. Outgoing, personable, driven and tenacious.
  11. Ability to skillfully assess client needs and match appropriate services. Excellent ability in analysing opportunity for cross sell and up-sell our solutions.
  12. Diligent documentation skills.
  13. The candidate but be a good listener and be able to empathize with a customer.
  14. Proven experience in establishing sales practices into international market.
  15. MBA’s or BA or a BS with relevant work experience.
  16. The ability to manage, recruit & train a strong team.
