VISUAL ARCHITECT: (Job Code: EIDVA/0308)

Role: Primary responsibilities and other Desirable factors for a Visual Architect are as follows:

  1. Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment.
  2. Ability to analyze and evaluate facts and evidence and process large volumes of verbal and written information, to arrive at a sound and a logical product strategy.
  3. Ability to effectively organize your schedule to ensure timely completion of all projects within the scheduled time frames.
  4. Ability to accurately and succinctly communicate with other team members and clients.
  5. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and interact in a professional, friendly and team-oriented manner with all company and client personnel.
  6. Exercise flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and events.
  7. Ability and willingness to participate and create at the proposal stage Proof of concepts, prototypes, strategy documents, etc to help differentiate ourselves from our competitors.
  8. Organizing and analyzing various materials, including analyses conducted, and developing strategies.
  9. Working independently or as part of a team, depending on size of project, to develop and design instructional goals and strategies, training objectives and measurements.
  10. Participating in the development and implementation of policies, standards, documentation and processes to insure the final product meets our standards of excellence and consistency in terms of visual design integrity and the client’s expectations.
  11. Communicating frequently and effectively with clients and internal team members to ensure that the goals and objectives of the project are being fulfilled.
  12. Providing periodic status reports on all ongoing development projects.

Educational Qualification and minimum qualifying criteria:

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in one of the following fields preferred: Fine Arts, Applied arts, Commercial art.
  2. Strong capabilities in crafting, architecting, visualizing and conceptualizing elearning products for diversely different domains, content and learner profiles.
  3. Knowledge of instructional objectives, adult learning principles and learning theory will be an added advantage.
  4. Knowledge of information mapping and eLearning design principles is a plus.
  5. Two to four years experience as a Visual architect/ Visual strategist/Visualiser in an eLearning company will be preferred.
  6. Demonstrating creativity, skills and experience in interaction design and human computer interface design to meet and exceed client expectations, goals and objectives.

 

LEARNING ARCHITECT: (Job Code: EIDLA/0308)

Role: Primary responsibilities and other Desirable factors for a Learning Architect are as follows.

We are seeking exceptional Instructional Design talent to lead our Instructional Design team. The position is part of the Core team and you would be working closely with Visual and Technology Architects and Project Managers to define the product definition, strategy and its implementation.

You will be responsible for designing and developing materials using ADDIE and related models. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts to ensure the effectiveness of solutions for the intended audience. Thus, not only is experience with WBT/CBT required; you must bring a real passion for online training and interactive technologies.

To function in this position, you must be self-directed, capable of leading teams and project management-oriented. The following will be an added advantage.

  1. Excellent decision-making skills, with the ability to exercise independent discretion and judgment.
  2. Capability to create product definition, strategy and a sound implementation plan for the same. Ability to participate at the proposal stage by crafting instructional approaches to projects to help differentiate us from our competitors.
  3. Ability to analyze and evaluate facts and evidence and process large volumes of verbal and written information, to formulate sound and logical conclusions.
  4. Ability to effectively organize your schedule to ensure timely completion of all projects within the scheduled time frames.

  1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in one of the following fields preferred: Instructional Design, Education, Communication, Journalism or related discipline.
  2. Knowledge of instructional objectives, adult learning principles and learning theory is mandatory.
  3. Knowledge of information mapping and eLearning design principles is a plus.
  4. Three - Five years experience as an instructional designer in an eLearning company.
  5. At least two years experience in Project Management, leading teams and handling customers.

 

SENIOR INSTRUCTION DESIGNERS: (Job Code: EIDID/0308)

Role: Primary responsibilities of a Sr. Instructional Designer are as follows.

We are seeking exceptional Instructional Design talent to be a part of our Instructional Design team. The position is aligned to our key accounts and you would be working closely with Visual and Technology Architects and Project Managers to define the product definition, strategy and its implementation.

You will be responsible for designing and developing materials using ADDIE and related models. You’ll work closely with subject matter experts to ensure the effectiveness of solutions for the intended audience. Thus, not only is experience with WBT/CBT required; you must bring a real passion for online training and interactive technologies.

To function in this position, you must be self-directed, capable of leading multiple projects from a given account and project management-oriented. The following will be an added advantage.

Role: Architect and execute technology solutions for eLearning projects.

  1. Will be responsible for crafting the technology strategy of projects.  Will be required to architect and program the overall framework at a product level.
  2. Will be responsible for the quality of output of Media Integrators with strict conformance of QA guidelines and checklists.

Educational Qualification: Graduate; 3 to 4 years of relevant elearning industry exp. is an added advantage.

Minimum qualifying criteria: Should have strong expertise in Flash action script (2.0), OOPs concepts, JavaScript, HTML, XML, knowledge about LMS deployment, packaging courses for eLearning compliances (SCORM, AICC).

Desirable factors:
Skills in Director Lingo programming / Authorware scripting.

 

MULTIMEDIA DEVELOPERS: (Job Code: EIDMD/0308)

Role: Integrate content/media during production of eLearning courses.

  1. Should be able to support the courseware development through integration of content/media into pages.
  2. Will be responsible for editing and integrating of audio.
  3. Will be responsible for the quality of their output with strict conformance of QA guidelines and Checklists.
  4. Ensure that tasks are completed on time with the required quality..

Educational Qualification: Graduate; 1 to 2 years of relevant elearning industry exp. In the field of content integration is an added advantage.

Minimum qualifying criteria: Should have expertise in Flash action script at an intermediate level, JavaScript, HTML, XML. Knowledge about LMS deployment, eLearning standards like SCORM, AICC.

Desirable factors:
Knowledge about LMS deployment, eLearning standards like SCORM, AICC. Work experience in multimedia/DTP tools such as PageMaker, Corel draw, Sound forge, etc. will be an added advantage.

 

VISUAL DESIGNERS: (Job Code: EIDVD/0308)

Role: To support course development projects at the core production stage.  

  1. Produce static graphics, conceptual pages, animations, interactivities, etc. as per the visual strategy, storyboards, graphics descriptions, style guide and check lists.
  2. Should have strong abilities in converting design briefs into a visually enriching learning experience.
  3. Will be responsible for the quality of their output with strict conformance of QA guidelines and Checklists.

Educational qualification / experience / skills: BFA or a similar degree; Between 1 to 3 years of work experience. Strong expertise in the area of graphics production for elearning courses; Knowledge and experience is mandatory in tools such as Flash (preferably with action scripting experience), Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, SoundForge, etc.

Desirable factors: Knowledge and experience of other tools like PageMaker, Corel Draw, 3DS MAX., Articulate, Captivate, Breeze, etc. will be an added advantage.

Other desired Knowledge / Qualities: Skills/experience in creating illustrations, sketches, infographics, designing icons, UIs etc. will be an added advantage.

 

QUALITY ASSURANCE TESTERS: (Job Code: EIDQA/0308)

Role: To ensure that the course development projects are readied with the requisite quality.

  1. Would be responsible for testing at a page level as well as at an integrated course level.
  2. Would be responsible for testing of courses based on storyboards, guidelines, test cases and check lists.
  3. Would be required to work with Visual designers, product integrators, media integrators, IDs, etc. to resolve all issues and bugs pertaining to a given project.
  4. Should have knowledge / experience in Test Case Creation.
  5. Should have experience on testing online courses through an LMS.

Educational Qualification: BE, MCA, or related science degrees. ; 1 to 2 years of relevant elearning industry experience would be preferred.

Minimum qualifying criteria: Prior experience in the area of product testing, manual testing or testing elearning courses would be an added advantage. Should have multi platform/browser/ OS testing knowledge.

Desirable: Additional qualification in related field like ISO 9000 training or certification would be an advantage. Candidates with high attention to detail, sensitive to graphic design, layout, balance, symmetry, etc. would be preferred. Additionally knowledge on usability/functionality testing will be an advantage. Experience in audio testing will be an added advantage.
